Meet the Photographer

Hi there, I'm Arielle!

As I was growing up, my Mawmaw always referred to me as her “little photographer”, and I genuinely believe she manifested this part of my life for me. During my preteen years, I began requesting digital cameras, and I certainly went through a lot of them. I either misplaced them, damaged them, or used them until they no longer functioned anymore. I captured images of everything (mostly selfies, naturally). My Mawmaw cherished every single photo I took. It wasn't until many years later that my deep passion for photography truly happened. I never imagined that years after college, once I began my own family, I would set out on the journey of building a photography business.

When I'm not behind the camera, I am a wife and a full-time stay-at-home mom to my two wonderful children and our two Rottweilers. I thoroughly enjoy homeschooling my oldest kiddo. Traveling and discovering interesting places with my family brings me joy, as does visiting local coffee and book shops. Recently, I've developed a passion for learning how to bake various treats, particularly sourdough bread.

Although creating and owning a small business is no small feat, it really has taken my sweat, blood, tears, and pure determination to keep this going through many ups and downs. But truly, at the end of each day, I always feel so extremely blessed to have my business, my family, my clients, my photographer friends, and my mentors.

Photography has really seen some of the darkest parts of my life and brightest. It’s brought me friends, opportunities, and a sense of purpose that I never anticipated. Through the lens, I've found a way to express myself and connect with others on a deeper level. Each photoshoot is more than just capturing pictures; it's about building relationships and creating a supportive community. The friendships I've formed through this journey are invaluable, so many of them always providing encouragement and inspiration every step of the way.

Photography has also opened doors to countless adventures and experiences. It's taken me to beautiful locations, both near and far, and allowed me to witness moments of pure joy and emotion. Whether it's the beauty of a sunset shoot or the chaos of a family photoshoot, each session offers a new perspective and a chance to learn something new.

Above all, photography has given me a sense of fulfillment. It's a profession that continually challenges me to grow and evolve, pushing the boundaries of my creativity and skills. I am grateful for every opportunity to capture memories, share stories, and make a positive impact on the lives of my clients. This journey is one of constant discovery, and I look forward to every new chapter it brings!
